Well, i am back! It has not been quite 8 months, but it sure has been a long time! Thanks Katie for making me come back!!

Here is a few highlights on our past 11 months! Well pretty much a lot. For Valentines Bradyen and I spent the whole day just the two of us, which doesn't happen very often living with his parents. We stayed the night at the Grand America in Salt Lake and just loved being together!!

March, April, and May were pretty uneventful.

I took June and July off of school and spent most of my days at Cherry Hill, following my mom around, reading, and hanging out at Bear Lake. We spent almost every weekend at Bear Lake, and it was a great opportunity for us to get away.

August, and September also went by with out much excitement. Although we did spend every moment of those months looking for a house to buy. We offered on many, but non worked out. I know the Lord has a bigger plan then what I can see or understand right now.

October went by so fast. I can't hardly remember what happened. On the 7th it was our ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!! I can't believe how fast time has gone!! Bradyen and I re-in acted our first date!! It was so cute of him!! Then we spent the night in a hotel to get away. He is so sweet to me!! Halloween was a blast! I did have to go to school that day, but we got to dress up!! I dressed up as my instructor Mo, and it was hilarious! Then that night Brayd and I dressed up as Juno and Bleeker! Although most people didn't get it because they haven't seen the movie, we got a big kick out of it!!

November (present time). November 1st......the day I look forward to all year!! Birthdays are a big deal to me, it is the only day that your entire world can revolve around you!! Who doesn't love that?? November 1st was my birthday....and boy was I spoiled!! I had the day off of school, but unfortunately Brayden had to work. But he didn't leave me empty handed!! He set up a minute pedicure at Sego Lilly Spa. He said I needed to relax! Which I agree these past few months have been emotionally draining!! It was just what I needed! (he knows me to well) Then my mom took me shopping!!! Which is my favorite thing to do next to being with Brayden) She bought some clothes and shoes!! It was so fun to spend some time with her. Then that night when Brayden got home from work he took me out to eat at the Olive Garden (which is my guilty pleasure favorite restaurant)! I swear we must have eaten 100 bread sticks and bowls of salad that we didn't have any room for our main course!! So we brought it home!! Then we went over to my parents house for some cake and ice cream and presents! It was fun. Both of my grandma's came over and all of my sisters and my brother in law Brett! I got basically everything I wanted!! The clothes from my parents, a scarf from Kandis and Ayrion, a adorable apron from Andra and Brett, and $ from my grandparents. Then Brayden spoiled me!! Perfume (viva la juicy....LOVE it), a purse, head phones, the cutest watch EVER, a ticket to Lady A, and new clothes!! Man,I love that boy!! Well that is all I have for now! My Promise....

Hello all! I have decided that I have neglected my blog for long enough. So I am back!! I promise to update this more, and be more proactive in scheduling it into my schedule! I love to blog, I just need to remember that I do!

The past few (8) months have been kind of crazy and hectic. A lot has changed in our little family, and we have learned a lot too. I am going to update you just a little at a time so I don't get over whelmed.

I am sure some of you know about our recent trial with our son Tavyn. Just so you know that story will appear on this blog, but not for a little while.

So, about January 2010 is when everything changed for us. We were living in an apartment and being happy newly weds. Then finally reality caught up with us. I decided to go back to school while Brayden worked. This meant that I was quitting my job as a travel agent of which I had been for 3 1/2 years! I loved that job so much and the industry! It was so hard for me to quit, but it was the best decision for us at that point.

Because I was quiting my job, Brayden and I decided to move in with his parents so we could save for a house faster then if we had a rent payment each month. It has been great living here and so much fun!

New years eve was so much fun! We had all of my brothers and sisters in laws over, a few of their friends, and my family. We played the wii, watch the ball drop, and ate so much food it might as well have been thanksgiving!! It was a great way to kick off a new year as a couple!

The holidays are such a fun and busy time! Between visiting the families, Christmas parties, and Hawaii we had our hands full. It was such a fun time! Brayden and I were getting a little ansy, and needed a break. So we took a couple days and went down to Las Vegas and St. George. It was so fun to get away and just spend some time together as a couple. We did all the tourist things in Vegas, saw the Coca-Cola and M&M factory, walked up and down the strip and even went to Blue Man Group. Here are some pictures of what we did!

What I have been missing out on....

Monday mornings go as they always do, I woke up late. There is something about Monday's that make it exceptionally hard to wake up and get out of bed. So as I was running around like a crazy person, i grabbed my lunch out of the fridge, ran out to my car, and made it to work just 1 minute late. Shockingly!

When lunch rolled around I pulled out my sack lunch which consisted of a clementine, turkey sandwich, juice box, and carrots. Same lunch I packed Brayden. I ate my clementine, most of my carrots and was headed to eat the sandwich. I took my first bite and it tasted a little odd....so I opened it up and it had mustard on it. For those who don't know....i have NEVER liked mustard. NEVER. But I was so hungry I didn't care at that point. So I ate the sandwich anyways....and after I had finished I realized that I really liked it!

I then realized that i have been going 22 years with out mustard! I couldn't believe it! How could have I over looked the tangy goodness of this simple sandwich delight?! So i made a promise to myself to never let a sandwich go dry with out mustard.

Things have changed around our house now...every morning I make TWO sandwiches with mustard. Not just one!

What a better way to celebrate Christmas then in a nice warm place like Hawaii! For our Christmas presents this year, Brayden and I went to Hawaii! It was SO SO fun and we wish we could have stayed longer. Neither of us had been there before, and we enjoyed it! We did a lot of shopping, and some playing on the beach. But mostly we just had fun being together! Here are some photos of our trip!

I know it has been forever since I have updated this. But good news, I have lots to update you all on!! First of all, our honeymoon. We spent eight days in Cancun at our 5 star hotel, with a private pool, jacuzzi, and butler! We didn't know what to do with the butler, but it was fun just to say we had one! We did lots, and played, and relaxed! It was the best vacation. Here are some photos!

In Memory of Bishop Rick Bastian

My bishop of two years in my student ward suddenly passed away from a heart attack. He was such a great man and was a wonderful bishop. I have so many fond memories of him and his wife KayLynn. They were so involved in the ward, and knew each one of us individuyally, he even knew each of our struggles. Even when their two kids, Travis and Desiree, died in a car accident three years ago, they were so focused on helping others. As a couple they would make trips to families, who have lost chiildren, and give them advice and comfort. I can just imagind the reunion he had with his two kids.

As a couple, Rick and KayLynn, they were literally one. They served all those they came in contact with. They were always so kind and loving, wiht the softest hearts. I have learned to love them as my parents away from home those two years, and have considered myself lucky to get to know them and letting me into their family. He was truly a man of God. My prayers and thougth are with his wife and family.

You are loved and will be missed Bishop Bastian!

Now that we are back to reality, I am not liking it! Brayden is out of town all week AND all next week for work! I am dying here. I have to keep busy so I don't get to lonely. So I figured it was a great time to catch up on my Blog. Because I have been kind of neglecting it. So here it goes...

Brayden and I were sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake City LDS temple October 7, 2009!! They day could not have been more perfect!

Bridals!

Today was my very last bridal dress fitting! I am so relieved. As some of you probably already know, this has been quite the adventure. We started off really strong, it was the first place we went to, and the first and only dress I ever tried on. That was all I needed, I was sold! It was perfect! There were a few alterations we needed to do to make it modest, but at the time it didn't seem like a big deal....at least that is what they told us. First of all...we had to order the dress in from Spain! So that took a month to get here. Then, a month and a half later, when I didn't hear from them I called. And, of course, the dress was stuck in customs in New York City. By this time we only had a 3 weeks until my bridals, the dress wasn't here, the extra fabric we needed to make the rest of the dress wasn't even ordered, and they wouldn't return my calls. After a few days and a few tears, we went to try on the dress. It was perfect! It fit just right and I fell in love all over again! They brought out the fabic and the lace I am having them put on it and I lost it again. It as the wrong lace. I guess what ended up happening was they used my lace on a different girl and now didn't have enough for me! As you can imagine, bride-zilla was forming. Luckly my mom is pretty straight forward, and made sure they got it right. Now, after having them cut the dress in so many wrong places and 12 dress fittings later....it should be just about perfect!! I just hope the rest of the wedding planning goes more smoothly. :)
